Culture survey assessment

Our surveys bring the culture factors which operate to create your organization’s uniqueness to life. We reveal what makes your organization thrive and what holds back success. Our diagnostics will describe your culture strengths, areas for development and priority areas for attention.

The Culture Snapshot

The Culture Snapshot™ survey reveals the strength of your organization's culture patterns (organizational and leader practices, group norms of behavior and beliefs) that strongly influence your organization’s vitality and the success of its strategic direction and goals.

The Culture Snapshot consists of a Foundation Culture Snapshot survey that focuses on eight culture dimensions that contribute to a vibrant and effective work environment. This is a broad scan across multiple aspects of culture using 85 survey statements and two open-ended questions.

All of our assessment tools are founded on constructs and models of culture dynamics that we have developed based on the work of social scientists in the area of national and organizational culture, including Geert Hofstede and Fons Trompenaars, as well as The GLOBE Study of 62 Societies by House, Hanges and others. The GLOBE Study involved approximately 17,000 managers from 951 organizations operating in 62 societies with a research team of 170 scholars and research scientists from the same 62 countries.

Add Strategic and Deep Dive Modules

In addition the Culture Snapshot can be customized to your organization by selecting a Strategic Focus survey module that assesses a strategic area such as Customer Experience, Innovation, Operational Excellence and Reliability or by selecting a Deep Dive module that assesses a strategic capability such as Collaboration, Competitiveness, Performance & Results or Learning & Agility. There is also a module specific to Not-for-Profit organizations.

These surveys are perfect to probe a specific aspect of culture that will provide a competitive advantage.

Agility Culture Pulse Survey

The Agility Pulse

The ability to balance both discipline and focus with flexibility and speed is a sustainable competitive advantage. The Agility Pulse examines the way that eight specific aspects of culture are balanced: collaboration, communication, competitive focus, direction, execution, flexibility, results and speed to create an adaptive organization. A 7-8 minute on-line survey reveals your organization’s agility culture strengths and development areas, as well as priority areas for attention.

Divisions, departments, small and mid-sized businesses and public service organizations will gain high value insights for action. Include the survey as part of annual planning, strategic initiative management, project launches or leadership development. While executives control structure and systems, mid-level leaders shape processes and practices every day in what they do. Give them a tool to help them shape an agile culture by design.

communications culture survey

The Communication Pulse

The Communications Pulse Survey focuses on the impact of leader behavior and practices on the effectiveness of communications within and across groups. It probes the openness of information sharing and dialogue and the level of trust underpinning communication dynamics.

This survey will be of interest to Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Development departments and senior leaders who want to take communications to its next level of effectiveness. It will identify strengths and where, specifically, there are breakdowns in leader behaviors in engaging employees through communications. It gets to the heart of communications – leaders and their conversations with their people. Learn more about our Communications survey…

collaboration culture survey

The Collaboration Pulse

The Collaboration Pulse Survey focuses on the impact of leader behavior and organizational practices around collaboration. It probes collaboration from a multi-level perspective: from the individual leader perspective, how are bridges being built in his or her networks; from the work group point of view, how is teamwork being developed so the group can work effectively; from within the organization, how is horizontal alignment and capacity to share information and ideas being developed; and, from an external point of view, how is the organization partnering with its stakeholders.

This survey will be of interest to organizations that want to strengthen solution generation and who are interested in finding out how the effectiveness and speed of cross-boundary work can be improved.
