What you will see
You will enter the survey and experience selecting from the drop down boxes your Position and Location. Other drop down boxes such as Age and Service can be activated. A sample of the item statements are illustrated on the demo plus each of the two open-ended questions. The second open-ended question can be customized to your specific situation such as a merger or a third question added. Use the arrows on the lower right of the screen to progress through the survey. Please note that error prompts usually remind users to return to unanswered questions. These have been disabled in the demo survey questions, but remain active on the Background screen.
Customizing the survey
Once you have accessed your organization’s survey, your company logo will be seen in the upper right corner. We also customize the site by substituting your institution’s name where you see the fictitious company name on the demo site. The Background Screen will be adapted, inserting your organization or organizational unit’s name. The names of groups that you have identified will be inserted into the Position boxes (such as ‘Managers, shift superintendents and supervisors’ for a manufacturing company or ‘Partners’ for a law firm).
Access codes and passwords
A unique access code is assigned to each organization. Once logged in, individual access codes are generated by the system and a password is created by the user. This is not active in the demo. This ensures full confidentiality and allows a user, if interrupted, to leave a partially completed survey and return to it later. These identifiers can also be used if there are contests for participating in the survey.
