Engagement and retention are words that we hear all the time. Many leaders are worried about their ability to attract and retain talent, especially younger staff. Using high engagement work practices is a key strategy used to address this challenge. This survey explores culture patterns that examine important aspects of engagement such as the opportunities to get involved in issues that affect them (Involvement), positive interpersonal relationships (Interpersonal Relations), and the freedom to make decisions (Empowerment). It also looks at the direction and support that people are given (Goal Alignment and Learning & Development).

Note: The Intergenerational Culture Snapshot also examines culture from across age groups. The same survey items are used to compare the responses of people from four different generations. If there are significant differences in the ages of people at different levels or there are specific retention challenges within a specific age group or groups, consider using this survey.
